Old Churches

In Pelion, there are numerous old churches that hide surprises. Many of them date back from 17th century, such as Agia Marina in Kissos village, where you can admire its beautiful murals inspired by the Apocalypse, as well as the Old and New Testaments. Mouressi’s basilica of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity), located right next door from OLGA’s courtyard, was renovated in 1776 and is very famous for the “perforated iconostasis.
